We are on the cusp of bee season. Clean up your equipment; make your orders for bees and bee equipment; and attend the CABA meetings. The SCBA Spring Conference in Columbia is also this month. If interested in attending, talk to Brian or Andre.

We are receiving many requests for visits from beekeepers. Clubs, schools, and Girl Scouts -- all are looking for a table talk. If you are willing to do a talk in your area, please contact me, and I will give you the information. It is really fun to speak to the school littles, which is mostly "show and tell." For the older audiences, CABA has many materials that we will be happy to let you use.

This month's meeting is February 10 at 901 Orange Grove Road at 9:00 a.m. After you go through the gates, we meet in the first building on the left. At this meeting we will match up new beekeepers with mentors. We also need you to sign up to help with the April Expo. It really is a lot of fun. If you do not care to sign up through Sign Up Genius, Andre with have a paper copy on which you can volunteer.
