Mentor Program

The most unique part of being a CABA member is the opportunity to be a part of the mentor program.

  • Education

CABA is dedicated to providing hands-on and easily accessible education opportunities to members and the greater Charleston community. We offer a two-day introduction to beekeeping class in January that is available to the public. We also provide online resources such as training and observational videos and informational links for all levels of beekeepers. CABA hosts hands-on demonstrations, facilitates a mentorship program and also provides monthly in-person instruction at our meetings.

  • Resources

Our club provides links on where to purchase bees, beekeeping equipment, products of the hive, and how to support other organizations and clubs that are working to be good stewards of bees and their habitats.

You will learn about Beekeeping clubs and organizations to follow, where to purchase bees, where to purchase equipment, where to purchase local honey, where to purchase products of the hive, and Organizations that support bees and their habitats.

  • Exclusive Content & Events

Our monthly meetings, beekeeping conferences, and Charleston Bee Expo are just some of the amazing events supporting bees in the community.

Our club meets monthly in person and hosts speakers and demonstrations at our meetings that are accessible to all levels of beekeepers.

We also attend the South Carolina Beekeepers Association Conference

  • Community

Charleston Area Beekeepers Association is a club dedicated to giving back and engaging with our community to improve the habitat for bees and provide resources for all beekeepers.
